Kitsap Tennis & Athletic Center

Response to user: “Cheddar” the pool, sauna AND hot tub are all in working condition as of right now. All amazing! Kitsap tennis club has a very warm salt water + chlorine lap pool (only complaint is it’s very small.) Using the dry sauna before swimming is so nice, I like to bring the silicone cupping therapy into the sauna with me and use the cups as I am stretching my neck. The pool won’t turn your lips blue, it’s easy to get right in. And finishing my visit with the hot tub is the reason I come here! The women’s locker room is huge, there’s changing stalls, benches & even vanity mirrors with blow dryers! The whole women’s locker room area is pretty luxurious for a locker room. So glad this place exists, I just wish I lived closer.

This facility is consistently plagued by broken equipment. The hot tub was out of order for over two years, and the tennis court roof repair took significantly longer than announced, with no compensation for members who couldn't use it during the extended downtime. Customer service is unresponsive to inquiries. Now the sauna is broken, and there's no telling how long it will be. This is incredibly frustrating.

What a disappointment this facility has become. When I started my membership everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. A wide variety of membership, monthtly kids nights.. after staffing changes and a rollercoaster of members being disrespectful and ruining anything in the pool that wasnt about lap swimming, it's become unbearable and I am leaving. I have also somehow gone through swimsuits basically disintegrating after being exclusively used in this pool. I know salt water is hard on suits, but something is off. I don't know why this is anything but a Tennis club. Even though they have facilities for other things like a weight room and pool, nothing else seems to matter anymore other than tennis. If you are looking for a gym or an inclusive experience, this isn't it. If you are geriatric and grumpy, you'll fit right in. *This review has been updated to display the change in atmosphere. Original Post from 2025: 5 Stars, The staff is very kind and welcoming. I went in to ask questions to confirm how the membership worked before I signed up, since I have it available through my insurance at a discounted rate, and they made the experience painless. Also a very clean facility. I'

Amazing place! The swim instructors are all so kind and patient. The indoor saltwater pool is sparkling clean and warm. The facility is also very very clean and the receptionists provide excellent customer service.
